Representatives from North East local authorities gathered for a one day workshop exploring Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, run by Hapsis Innovation on behalf of NEREO, the North East Regional Employers Organisation. Faced with the Comprehensive Spending Review set to reduce budgets and impact on services, delegates explored the ways in which creativity can be used to harness new ideas, innovation could help deliver new services and processes, and entrpreneurship could contribute to generating and exploiting new opportunities.
The local authorities were joined by charitable organisations and public sector partnership organisations delivering shared services in what proved to be a very interesting day. In the words of one delegate:
Great course – v thought provoking, just need to go back and apply it!”
